Sweetwater Arabians was established in 1998 and is located in Waynesboro, Tennessee.  We are just a very small farm consisting of a few pastures and a cool running creek. On April 16, 1998 our farm was hit by a terrible F5 tornado. It hit before we had moved to our farm but we were already in the process of moving and some of our stuff was already at the farm, including the horses. We lost two horses in the horrifying event (Buck & Elkie) but fortunately, our lives were spared and so was our home with minimal damage.  We are still working hard to make our farm as beautiful as we can despite the damage of twisted and fallen trees. We don't breed a lot of horses; only a foal here and there.  If we breed a horse we carefully examine pedigrees, conformation,  and most of all disposition to breed the best possible Arabian we can.  It is important that the resulting foal be very beautiful, versatile and horse that the whole family could enjoy. We strive to breed a horse to unmistakingly look Arabian with the great Arab disposition that is easy to work with and loves to be with people.  Our horses are used for pleasure riding, local open shows and an occasional Class A Arabian show. We especially like the McCoy, Ferzon, and Al-Marah bred horses.
